Warranty and repair FjällVila Roof tents
3-year warranty
At FjällVila, we stand behind the quality of our products. Our rooftop tents and accessories come with a standard 1-year manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase, when purchased from an authorized dealer or distributor. In addition, a private purchaser receives an extended warranty period* of 2 years (so a total of 3 years manufacturer’s warranty), when the rooftop tent is purchased directly through fjallvila.co.uk, fjallvila.eu, or in FjällVila’s showroom. The standard manufacturer’s warranty on a rooftop tent purchased by private purchaser is transferable upon resale.
The warranty is a Carry-in warranty. This means that, if necessary, the rooftop tent will be physically presented by the consumer to FjällVila, or to a third party designated by FjällVila, for inspection and/or repair.
If the defect falls under the warranty conditions* we will repair the defect free of charge, if the defect is not economically repairable we can make a proposal for compensation or a replacement product. If you do not agree to a proposal for compensation, we will exchange the product or refund the purchase price, classifying the purchase contract as a lease-purchase agreement and charging a prevailing rental rate based on an average period of use of 4 weeks per year. (regardless of actual use)

Repair
Even if a defect is not covered by warranty, almost all parts can be replaced or repaired individually. From a tent fabric torn by a sharp object to mildew caused by excessively damp storage, sand between zippers or ladders, we will help you with expert advice.
